GETHSEMANE carries out The Meeting of the Lord Holiday The Outreach for crisis families

The last Christmas holiday we celebrate in Ukraine is called “The Meeting of the Lord” (Candlemas) – the moment when Jesus’ family met Simeon and Anna in the temple. We organized a concert, based on this holiday, and invited 50 kids from crisis families to come to the holiday and receive a holiday gift box.

We Likewise invited the local authorities as well as the local Greek Catholic and Roman Catholic Churches to participate in the holiday with their music groups. The event was a great moment for us to share the Gospel through a talk, A Bible quiz, a puppet show and music. Father Roman Skovron Greek Catholic Church
