Pastor Valeriy Marchenko took part in the special interfaith prayer meeting of various Christian denominations on May 8 paying honor to the memory the victims of the World War II.
10 church ministers and the Deputy mayor himself came to the event.
The event was organized by the Greek-Catholic Church commission for peace and justice.
The prayer took place at 3 sites – a former concentration camp, where 200 000 Jews, Poles and Ukrainians where murdered during the war, the burial place of peaceful citizens of Lviv, killed in the conflict and the one of the German Nazi war captives.
